need help paying bills

There are four of us all disabled in the house, all on disability, all over 65. Two on dialysis. Power bill went from $200 a month to over $500+ a month nothing added. Kwh went from 2,000 kwh to 4,000 kwh now they want an increase of $500 deposit and two months of $500 for a total of $1,500. Need help to pay this bill, we are all on SS and SSI. Please help or they will shut us off on the 9/24th of this month. Only have an 1,100 square foot house with two a/c's. no reason for such high bills. Been to public service comm. No justification or reason given for increase. How unusual! Help Please. hodespj@aol.com

need help with bills! African american woman 3 kids, have taken care of my family by myself. Divorced mother. Father has not paid child support for all their life.There has been an order of child support, but because I am not on public assisstance, I believe the court system does not consider my case important. he has filed for bankruptcy and although they (juvenile court) tells me that he still has to pay, it has been years and no financial help. I am doing the best I can putting my children through school and paying for medical/dental alonf with keeping a roof over our heads, but in the past few months, it has beengetting very difficult! My energy bill has risen to about $1300 dollars. I have been trying to pay the minimum they ask for a month but it is constantly adding up. I am getting later and later on car payments,and mortgage. I am hoping maybe ther is a program out there to help me or individuals who can help. I have worked hard all my life and have not looked to public assistance. Thanks just for reading! Faithful
